I am just going to say it, "EVERY ARTIST GETS A BLOCK."

We all know when we hit that point. Can't think of your next subject or just don't feel like painting. It may be a month or a couple of years. When you force it, we all know what happens. Everything turns to YUCK!

Sometimes it takes that one little thing or person to get an artist going again. Sometimes you have to go way out in left field and try something completley different to get back on track!

Well I am here to showcase my artist block experiments!

Sometimes you have to even go waaaaay out in left field and try other mediums to usually come back to what you know and love. (Trust me, my sculpture/lino prints phase did not work out and caused bodily injury)!

That being said, get back what you know you love. I personally love: Deep Color, Texture, Flow and most of all watercolors. So I went with it!

I actually received some rave responses from my experiments. Personally, I like to give them away, so people can have a piece of what I've done. I really don't have any personal attraction to them, but someone might. Many of my friends and family have tons of my "experiments."

All in all, it is just getting down to the basics again. Who know's it may take you in a different direction doing something you already love! Mine always do!
